Founded in 1987, The GSM Association (GSMA) is a global trade association representing more than 750 GSM mobile phone operators across 218 territories and countries of the world.
The GSMA has been working for the past year on two major initiatives: Mobile Money Transfer, focused on international remittances and remote banking / payments; and Pay-Buy-Mobile, which is focused on transactions at point of sale.
In February 2008, the GSMA announced it had enrolled a select few partners, including Fundamo, to establish a hosted mobile-wallet platform, enabling mobile operators to pilot financial services rapidly, and for the benefit of millions of people without a bank accounts.
Fundamo is a chosen Mobile Money Vendor for the GSMA.

Gemalto (previously Gemplus & Axalto) is the leading global provider of SIM and Smart Card technology. Fundamo and Gemalto have been working together through a comprehensive worldwide distribution agreement since 2003. Through this agreement Gemalto acts as a reseller of the Fundamo product.

S1 operates hosting services from its Data Centre in Atlanta where it provides services to a large number of small to medium banks in the US. S1. S1 utilise Fundamo mobile banking technology through a source code license deal and as well as this, Fundamo collaborates with S1 on a number of product themes (card issuing and authorisation, money remittance etc).
Postilion, a division of S1 Corporation (NASDAQ: SONE), is a leading provider of integrated solutions for self-service banking and payment processing. The Fundamo mobile banking suite is fully integrated with the Postilion switch.

Fundamo is a member of the SUN "Independent Software Vendor" program. As a part of the program, Fundamo provides core technologies on Sun software platforms and using Sun software technology. In addition, Fundamo will bundle Sun software technology support as part of the Fundamo licensed technology. Fundamo is therefore part of a community of innovators building software platforms on Sun technology.
Sun and Fundamo also collaborate on hardware optimisation, where Fundamo software applications are to be optimised for Sun hardware platforms.
